Bench Press

Cowgirl on a workout bench

How: A lies back on a sturdy bench, feet on the floor; B straddles the bench facing A, feet on the floor, and squats up and down.
What it may reach: B controls depth and pace like a squatting Cowgirl, with the floor for leverage.
Best for: Home-gym owners, leg-day people, couples who want to skip the gym today.
Group-chat wisdom: Count reps out loud. Ten is a set.
History: Our name, borrowed from the gym exercise. Spotters not included.
