Turning Position

Kama Sutra · the full rotation

How: A lies on top of B and, without separating, turns all the way round to face B's feet, while B holds A around the back. Then turns back.
What it may reach: Mostly reaches the limits of anatomy. The angle changes all the way through, which is the point.
Best for: Acrobats, the very patient, and couples who have a safe word for 'ow'.
Group-chat wisdom: Like a rotisserie, but with commitment issues.
History: Kama Sutra (Burton–Arbuthnot translation, 1883): the man 'turns round, and enjoys the woman without leaving her, while she embraces him round the back all the time'. The text calls it 'learnt only by practice'. Understatement of the millennium.
